Apple is ready to showcase a new design in the Apple Watch Series 8.
Based on leaks from ShrimpApplePro and Jon Prosser, the Apple Watch Series 8 will carry a new design with a flat screen or flat display.
The flat display allows Apple Watch Series 8 to look more stylish without protruding curves at the edges.
ShrimpApplePro shared a leaked flat display through its Twitter account.
The leak claims that there is a flat glass front screen for the Apple Watch Series 8.
Jon Prosser said that the flat display design should belong to the Apple Watch Series 8.
He admitted that he was wrong when he leaked the flat display design that would be released on the Apple Watch Series 7.
In May last year, Jon Prosser spearheaded rumors claiming that the Apple Watch Series 7 would sport a flat display with flat screen edges.
At the time, Prosser also shared CAD renders with his fans.
But in the end, the leak wasn't true because the Apple Watch Series 7 still used a curved screen edge design when it was introduced at the Apple Event in October 2021.
Previous rumors suggest that the Apple Watch Series 8 will have 3 models.
Prosser said the flat-screen design could be aimed at one of the new models.
The new model will also feature thinner bezels for a futuristic design look.
Apart from design updates, Apple Watch Series 8 is rumored to be bringing body temperature monitoring features, increased activity tracking features, etc.
However, it should be noted that Apple has not yet confirmed the leak of the Apple Watch Series 8 .
