Last week, Qualcomm launched the latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 flagship chipset.
Qualcomm revealed that the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 brings a 10% compute boost and 30% better power efficiency over its predecessor.
This chipset is also manufactured with 4nm fabrication from TSMC.
Qualcomm itself says that Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 will start rolling out in Q3 2022.

Reporting from Notbookcheck, there are at least 3 series of gaming cellphones that are interested in adopting Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1.
1. Black Shark 6 Series
Xiaomi is said to be in the first order of smartphone vendors who are interested in adopting the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset.
Xiaomi will embed Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 in the Black Shark 6 gaming cellphone line.
Based on rumors, the Black Shark 6 Series will begin to slide on the market towards the end of 2022.
2. Nubia Red Magic 7S Pro
A sub-brand from ZTE, Nubia is reportedly interested in bringing Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 in the Red Magic gaming cellphone series.
The company is said to be preparing a Red Magic 7s Pro gaming cellphone which will be powered by Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1.
Nubia Red Magic 7s Pro is also rumored to have a powerful cooling system to be able to bring out the highest potential of Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1.
3. Realme GT 2 Master Explorer
Realme is interested in presenting Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 Realme GT 2 Pro.
Based on the performance data shared by the Digital Chat Station, the Realme GT 2 Master Explorer has an AnTuTu score increase of 30,000 points compared to the Realme GT 2 Pro.
This indicates that the Realme GT 2 Master Explorer brings a new chipset from the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset previously used by the Realme GT 2 Pro.
It should be noted that Xiaomi, Realme, and Nubia have yet to confirm this rumor.
