The body of Emmeril Kahn Mumtadz (Eril) son of Ridwan Kamil has been found at the Engehalde Dam, Bern, Switzerland. The following is a chronology of the discovery of Eril's body.
The chronology of this discovery was conveyed by the Indonesian Ambassador to Switzerland, Muliaman Darmansyah Hadad, through a press conference via Zoom, Thursday (9/6/2022).
Wednesday, June 8
- At 06.50 Swiss time (11.50 WIB): Bern Police found the body of suspected Eril.
- The Bern Police conveyed information to the Indonesian Embassy in Bern and Ridwan Kamil's family in Switzerland.
- The police forensics team identified and traced DNA to ensure that the body was that of Ananda Eril.
Thursday, June 9
- Noon Swiss time: Police confirmed that based on DNA testing, the body found was the body of Emmeril Kahn Mumtadz alias Eril, son of Ridwan Kamil, the Governor of West Java.
- 13:45 pm Swiss time: Bern Police released an official statement regarding the discovery of the body.
- The police submitted files to the court to hand over Eril's body to Eril's family.
- In the afternoon, the court authorized the family to receive Eril's body.
"In the future, the Indonesian Embassy in Bern will continue to assist the family in managing the repatriation of Ananda Eril to the country," said the Indonesian Ambassador to Switzerland, Muliaman Darmansyah Hadad.
