Released at WWDC 2022 on June 7, the price of the MacBook Pro M2 makes Apple product lovers curious.
After more than a week after the launch, Apple is now starting to bring up the price of the MacBook Pro M2 in various countries, including Singapore.
MacBook Pro M2 or 13-inch MacBook Pro goes on sale in Singapore on Friday (17/6/2022).
Based on the monitoring of the Jzeey team, the Singapore Apple Store site has now displayed the MacBook Pro M2 product complete with available prices and variants.
The MacBook Pro M2 is sold at a price of SGD 1,879 or around Rp. 20 million for the 256GB SSD variant.
While the MacBook Pro M2 with a 512G SSD is sold at a price of SGD 2,179 or around Rp. 23.2 million.
The colors used are still the same as the previous generation, namely Space Gray and Silver.
Unfortunately, the Jzeey team has not yet received a leaked price and official sales schedule for the MacBook Pro M2 in Indonesia.
MacBook Pro M2 Specifications
MacBook Pro M2 is designed as an entry-level with a design similar to the 2020 MacBook Pro 13.
Despite carrying the old design, the new generation MacBook Pro is equipped with the latest Apple M2 CPU.
MacBook Pro M2 carries a design and appearance that is similar to the previous generation.
The new MacBook Pro M2 still retains the notchless screen design and features a touch bar.
The MacBook Pro M2 screen carries 13-inch retina display technology with P3 wide color support and up to 500nits brightness.
Apple embeds the M2 CPU in the 13-inch MacBook Pro for faster graphics processing and less power.
Apple says that the image processing performance on the MacBook Pro M2 is 40% faster than the MacBook Pro M1.
This means that the MacBook Pro M2 also has 40% better gaming performance compared to the MacBook Pro M1.
The M2 chipset in the latest MacBook Pro allows professional users to perform photo or video editing activities more efficiently.
Apple promises the MacBook Pro M2 has 18 hours of battery life .
The M2 chipset also allows the MacBook Pro M2 to support 24GB of RAM and up to 2TB of internal memory.
For connectivity, MacBook Pro M2 is equipped with Wi-Fi 6 and a Thunderbolt port.
Other features carried by the MacBook Pro M2 include ProRes encoding/decoding, a Studio-quality microphone, an advanced camera ISP, and an active cooling system.
