Unboxing the Samsung Galaxy M53 5G, which is the best from the Galaxy M Series?

Samsung recently introduced another product from the Galaxy M series as well as the best, namely the Galaxy M53 5G.

Apart from bringing several improvements from its predecessor, the M52, the Samsung Galaxy M53 5G can be an attractive alternative to the Galaxy A73 5G.

For example, the screen is large and the camera specifications are slightly different from the Galaxy A73 5G.

So what do we get from the Samsung Galaxy M53 5G?

Unboxing

A typical packaging box for the latest Samsung cellphones, the box for the Galaxy M53 5G is also thin due to the absence of several accessories.

In the box, you will get IMEI sticker, XL number Bundling, Simcard Ejector, USB-C to C cable, quick guide paper, and warranty.

Samsung no longer provides travel adapters and cases in the Galaxy M53 5G packaging.

Hands On

Samsung Galaxy M53 5G has a fairly thin size and light weight.

The design of the Galaxy M this time is also different from the Galaxy A series, especially in the square-shaped camera protrusion and a more conventional curved side frame.

The protrusion of the rear camera of the Galaxy M53 5G also has a design that blends in with the back panel without the 90-degree fracture that is commonly found on cellphones from other brands.

Although on the back panel in the blue color variant that we are holding, there can still be a few fingerprint marks, especially if it is oily.

We highly recommend the use of the case so that the back psnrl of the device still looks clean.

On the right are the volume and power buttons which also function as fingerprint sensors.

On the opposite side there is a hybrid Sim Card tray that can accommodate 2 SIM cards or 1 SIM card and 1 MicroSD up to 1TB.

Then at the bottom there is a USB-C hole, speaker, and microphone which can also be found at the top.

Just like the A series, Samsung has also removed the 3.5mm Jack port on the Galaxy M53 5G .

Specification

One of the advantages of the Galaxy M53 5G is its large screen size and good colors.

As in the Galaxy A73, the screen of the Galaxy M53 5G is a 6.7-inch AMOLED panel with FHD + resolution and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz.

This large screen makes for a positive visual experience whether watching movies or playing games.

For gaming performance, the Galaxy M53 5G is supported by a chipset from Mediatek, namely Dimensity 900 5G and 8GB RAM.

Unfortunately, the gaming experience will be a little disturbed by the speaker system which only has one at the bottom.

Then the 3.5mm Jack hole is also absent which makes the gaming experience less than optimal.

Even though it already uses a large 5000mAh battery, the Galaxy M53 5G still supports charging only up to 25W.

According to our experience on the Galaxy A73 5G with a similar configuration, it took about 90 minutes to charge the battery from 10 to 100 percent.

While the camera is similar to that presented in the A series, namely a 108MP main camera accompanied by an 8MP ultra wide, 2MP macro, and 2MP depth camera.

For self-photo enthusiasts, a 32MP camera is also provided on the front which is immersed in a screen with a punch hole design.

To be able to store a lot of photos and videos, there is a spacious storage space of 256GB and you can still add a MicroSD of up to 1TB

Conclusion

By design, the Samsung Galaxy M53 5G still offers a premium impression because of its visuals and light weight.

Although it is different from the A series, there are some details that are still preserved that make the Galaxy M53 5G no less interesting.

The specifications also remind us of the Galaxy A73 5G that we reviewed before.

For example, a wide screen, high camera resolution, large battery, and spacious storage capacity.

Although unfortunately Samsung does not provide Jack holes anymore, only one speaker, and only 25W charging.

For those who are interested, the Samsung Galaxy M53 5G is offered at a price of only Rp. 6,499,000.
