The last two weeks United again step on the gas in the transfer market. They have so far managed to secure three new signings with Lisandro Martinez being their latest signing of the summer.
United are reportedly not finished shopping yet. The Red Devils are confirmed to be buying at least two more players this summer.
Romano claims that United are setting their radar on Italy. The Manchester United manager reportedly wants to sign one of the Inter Milan players.
Who is that player? Read more below.
Aim for Right Defender
The report claims the Inter Milan player Ten Hag is eyeing is the defender. He is Inter's right-back, Denzel Dumfries.
Ten Hag has been interested in the defender since he played in Holland. Dumfries is considered to have good offensive abilities.
As a result, Ten Hag is quite interested in bringing Dumfries to Old Trafford this summer.
Haven't Moved yet
Despite his interest, Romano claims that Manchester United have not made a move to secure Dumfries' services.
This is because United are still waiting for Aaron Wan-Bissaka's fate first. They wanted to see if Wan-Bissaka left or not this summer.
If Wan-Bissaka leaves, they will only bring in the defender this summer.
Transfer dowry
Manchester United itself must be prepared to spend quite a bit for the transfer of Dumfries.
The defender can reportedly only be transported in the range of 35 million euros this summer.
