Pertamina Patra Niaga Corporate Secretary Irto Ginting said that his party continues to evaluate and will adjust the price of non-subsidized fuel on a monthly basis.
The reason for the non-subsidized fuel price adjustment is that it follows the trend of the average price of oil publications, namely the Mean of Platts Singapore (MOPS) or Argus.
"Based on calculations, in the last September period for Gasoline (gasoline) products, namely the Pertamax Series, the price decreased, while for Gasoil (diesel) Dexlite and Pertamina Dex products, the price increased," said Irto in a written statement, Saturday (1/10/2010). 2022).
While regarding the difference in price adjustments for Pertamax Series and Dex Series products, Irto explained, this was caused by global energy conditions, one of which was geopolitics in Eastern Europe.
This condition causes high demand for gas fuel products worldwide and one of the substitutes for gas fuel products is diesel fuel whose price refers to MOPS Kerosene.
“MOPS Kerosene is a price reference for diesel raw materials. High demand and limited raw materials keep prices high, even though world oil prices are trending downwards,” he explained.
The details of the decline in the price of Pertamax Series and Dex Series fuels, namely Pertamax Turbo (RON 98) fell to Rp. 14,950 and Pertamax (RON 92) fell to Rp. 13,900.
Meanwhile for Dexlite (CN 51), there was a price increase to Rp 17,800 and Pertamina Dex (CN 53) up to Rp 18,100 per liter.
This price applies to provinces with a motor vehicle fuel tax (PBBKB) of 5 percent, such as in the DKI Jakarta area .
Irto added that all non-subsidized fuel prices are in accordance with the pricing stipulated in the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Decree No. 62/K/12/MEM/2020 concerning the formulation of prices for general fuel types (JBU) or non-subsidized fuels.
"Pertamina is also committed to providing products with guaranteed quality at competitive prices throughout Indonesia," he said.
