Eril's body was found and according to DNA test results, millions of netizens expressed gratitude

After a long search for 14 days, finally the body of Emmeril Kahn Mumtadz, son of the Governor of West Java Ridwan Kamil was finally found, Wednesday (6/8/2022) at 6:50 local time.

Eril's body was found in the basin of the Engehalde Dam in Bern.

The Indonesian Ambassador to Switzerland Muliaman Hadad, in a press conference, Thursday (9/6/2022), also confirmed that Eril's body had been found.

This was based on information from the Swiss police who submitted confirmation of the DNA test results, that confirmed Eril's body.

Actually, the Bern Police, Switzerland, found Eril's body on Wednesday at 6:50 local time, in the overflow basin of the dam.

Then the police immediately carried out identification and DNA tests.

The results show that the body is indeed Eril, who disappeared because he was swept away by the current of the Aare River on 26 May.

According to Ridwan Kamil's family representative, Elpi Nazmuzaman, Eril's body will be returned to Indonesia on Saturday or Sunday, and the plan is for burial on Monday (13/6/2022).

Meanwhile, Ridwan Kamil has left for Switzerland today.
