This hybrid camera brings the EOS Cinema system and EOS R5 technology in one camera.
This EOS R5 C has the ability to record video with 8K quality and take 45 megapixel resolution photos.

He explained, this camera is a complete package for various workflows, ranging from multimedia journalists and other fields that require stunning image quality.
The EOS R5 C has a 45-megapixel full-frame 8K CMOS sensor, which is capable of producing 8K/60p RAW video quality.
Users can also create slow motion with high frame rate recording up to 4K/120fps.
With simultaneous audio recording support that does not require the usual separate audio input, required in conventional high frame rate recording.
Users can also oversampling to produce high-image quality 4K/4:2:2/10bit video.
For ease of post-production, the EOS R5 C is supported with C-log 3 to produce richer color gradations, making it more flexible in the color-grading process, even to produce cinematic color images.
The existence of HDR technology with HLG and PQ formats will also be useful when recording with high contrast.
Thanks to the high speed DIGIC X image processor and stable high speed continuous shooting capability.
Users can shoot in continuous still shooting mode at 20 fps at full resolution, enabling high-quality shooting even of moving subjects.
The EOS R5 C also delivers incredibly sharp images across the width of its full-frame sensor thanks to Dual Pixel CMOS AF II and EOS iTR AF X technologies.
Includes Eye Detection AF and Animal Detection AF which can accurately detect every movement of the subject, even when the subject is not facing the camera.
Low light performance when taking pictures in low light places can also be overcome with an ISO sensitivity of up to 51,200 and a focus brightness range of up to EV-6.
Multiple AF modes, including Dual Pixel Focus Guide which is useful when focusing manually also offer greater control and flexibility when aiming.
Coupled with a vari-angle touchscreen LCD, autofocusing is even more intuitive with direct touch controls.
The EOS R5 C has a wide variety of recording formats to suit every need.
One of them, Cinema RAW Light (12-bit) which saves RAW recording data in file size
lighter, can be performed in the internal recording mode.
There is also the XF-AVC format that meets the MXF broadcast standard and the versatile MP4 HEVC/H.264 format, supporting proxy recording at lower bitrates for more efficient video editing.
The most unique feature of the EOS R5 C is the dual system with two different interfaces for photos and videos.
When in “PHOTO” mode, the same interface as the EOS R5 will appear, which provides features and performance for photography needs.
When the button is turned to “VIDEO” mode it will activate the Cinema EOS interface, which looks like on the EOS C70, offering a typical Cinema EOS menu.
This camera also has a Timecode terminal that professional videographers and editors need, which is useful for synchronizing between cameras in multi-camera settings during post-production.
For storage media, there are two memory card slots that allow users to combine a CF-Express Type B and an SD UHS II memory card.
Simultaneous recording in 4K XF-AVC format, MP4, and proxy data can also be enabled even during internal 8K RAW recording.
With a light (680g) and compact body almost the size of the EOS R5, and its magnesium alloy material makes this camera resistant to dust and water drops, giving you the freedom to shoot anywhere and in any conditions.
